  • ELECTRICAL

    QUESTION:
What type of electrical installation is needed?

    ANSWER:
Our Himalayan salt walls and salt panels require 110v electrical circuits.

  • WATER EXPOSURE

    QUESTION:
Can they be exposed to water and humidity?

    ANSWER:
    No.

Because rock salt is hygroscopic, it absorbs moisture from the air.

To avoid irreversible damage to your Himalayan salt panels or walls, you should keep the humidity below 60 percent in the salt tiles area.

  • COLOR OPTIONS

    QUESTION:
Why do Himalayan Salt Bricks come in different colors?

    ANSWER:
The natural color of Himalayan salt is determined by its mineral composition. Every salt brick is unique because the amount and type of naturally occurring minerals vary throughout the salt deposit.
    Pink Himalayan Salt
gets its signature pink to amber hues from naturally occurring trace minerals, primarily iron, along with small amounts of other minerals. The higher the concentration of these minerals, the deeper and richer the pink color.

    White Himalayan Salt
is the rarest variety and contains the fewest trace minerals, giving it a clean, bright appearance.
Regardless of color, both pink and white Himalayan salt are authentic Himalayan salt and offer the same durability and performance.

The choice ultimately comes down to the look and ambiance you want to create.

  • SALT PANELS & STEAM ROOMS

    QUESTION:
Can you have salt panels in a steam room?

    ANSWER:
Although you could use them in a steam room, we do not recommend it.

Higher humidity levels will dissolve the salt and cause irreversible damage to your salt panels or walls.

  • SALT BRICK REPLACEMENTS

    QUESTION:
Can you replace salt bricks individually?

    ANSWER:
Although it is possible to replace blocks individually, we do not recommend it.

We hand-pick our Himalayan salt blocks to make each panel. The reason is that Himalayan salt blocks come in different shapes, and they might not fit when assembled at random.
  • HIMALAYAN SALT WALL & BRICK CARE

    QUESTION:
How to maintain and clean your salt wall panels?

    ANSWER:
The maintenance of the salt wall is straightforward. As long as it is kept dry, it would help if you only dust it off when it appears dusty.

You can do this with a brush, broom, or vacuum cleaner. The salt is quite complex and will not be damaged by this type of cleaning.

If you need to disinfect the wall, spray it lightly with disinfectant and dry it. Remember that salt tiles melt when they are wet. It takes a lot of water to make a noticeable difference, but you should be careful when getting the tiles wet.

If salt crystals are deposited on the salt tiles, this deposit is caused by excessive humidity in the room.

You should keep the humidity below 60 percent in the area where the salt tiles are located.

The crystals can be cleaned off the tiles using the above method.

If you expose the tiles to moisture for a long time, they will be damaged and should not be used.
